ABOUT ME

I am a freshwater ecologist with experience in applied research. My background in limnology, landscape planning, river restoration & management informs my mindful but competitive approach.

I am fuelled by my curiosity for understanding how river ecosystems work in order to contribute to the maintenance of ecologically-healthy rivers while guaranteeing sustainable management of water resources. I am particularly excited about developing holistic solutions for restoring modified rivers for environmental and social benefit, as well as communicating such findings to a broader audience.

Currently, I am a researcher at BOKU University, Vienna, conducting research in the field of ecohydrology. Besides, I work as a freelancer in ecological consulting and science writing. I am always interested in a challenge. Reach out to connect – I’d be happy to hear from you!
